NPC Creation cards

Excellent question. My apologies for the slow replies over the holidays. In theory having a deck for each NPC is ideal as well as impractical in large encounter groups. For NPC's I personally have a deck for my 2 or 3 primary NPC's and just detail the creation cards for others. In the later case, if I draw for that NPC and her creation card comes up I simply draw again to "skip" the card. James M. Ward has been running the game at conventions so perhaps he will have some tips as well for you.

On a side note, we do have plans to produce a card app to help players and game masters manage multiple virtual decks. Having said that, I think everyone needs at least one physical deck for the feel of the table top game.

As the designer of the game I am recommending that you use up the NPC creation cards right away in the encounter. If they are firing they use up the hearts. If they are being attacked they use up the spades.

I hope to have the card decks completed and on sale by April of this year. We have two decks under design. The first is for the basic boxed set which features art work from the initial release of 77 Worlds and the second (sample card you have) is for the forth coming release of The Blasted Earth - The Ultimate Apocalyptic Planet hardback which expands the rules for 77 Worlds and introduces mutations, space flight rules, and much more in near orbit as well as on the surface of Earth Prime.
